Sometimes I feel alone
Even within the husks of
Intimate relationships.

Not quite seen or met in my
bizarre and extreme
yearnings for wildness
So what to do?

Lean into that aloneness
And become surgically
Free from fantasies
of soul synchrony

Or, cast adrift from this husk
To ride currents of the universe
Trusting in my soul
To expand and touch
The familiar edges of other
Expanding and resonant souls?

Or… do nothing but laugh?
and trust that
This cosmic joke
Has a banger punchline
Hiding around the corner.

Hahahahahahahahahahaha!
This rascally universe
Teaching me in such
Cheekily cryptic ways
the sacred geometries

Of the heart path
Inviting me in the most
Mischievous ways to
Stay curious & captivated
As a rubber necked baby
scoping shadow and light

Always offering the 3rd way
When Im aware enough to
Elevate beyond the street level
Thuggery of the dualistic mind
And enter the hallowed temple of
Multidimensional paradox

I chuckle at this
Radiantly dark humour
And rub my hands
With glee as I take in the
Gaping expanse of polarity

I must dance across
To meet the infinite mystery
That has so many names
Yet is and always will be
nameless and within me…

I am never alone.
